With decades of combined experience in building, scaling, and transforming IT businesses, Richard Shuker and Matt Takhar bring a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership to our mission of enabling MSPs.
Richard Shuker
Richard is an accomplished business leader and former MSP owner with over 25 years of experience in the technology sector. As the Technical Director of Technology Means Business Ltd from 2006 to 2024, Richard played a pivotal role in building, maturing, and ultimately leading the company to a successful sale and exit.
Richard has leveraged his expertise in technology, governance, and strategic planning to assist hundreds of SMEs across his career. His leadership style focuses on empowering teams to excel while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Richard’s extensive experience includes developing and executing business and technology strategies, leading multiple mergers and acquisitions, and driving operational efficiencies through process automation. He is well-versed in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) management, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications, and has established robust cybersecurity practices.
As a Co-founder of Adelvium, Richard brings a consultative and results-driven approach, combining intelligence, curiosity, and determination to help businesses navigate the complexities of modern IT landscapes. His mission is to deliver secure, innovative solutions that enable growth and resilience for clients.
Matt Takhar
Matt is an accomplished IT professional with over 25 years of experience driving growth and innovation in the technology sector. He has held key leadership roles, including Business Development Director at N-able, where he built strong relationships with managed service providers, and Chief Executive Officer at Inbay Ltd, transforming the business from a significant monthly loss to profitability.
Matt’s experience extends to helping run Taylor Made Computer Solutions, a leading IT solutions provider, where he played a pivotal role in scaling operations and delivering exceptional value to clients. His expertise spans implementing line of business applications, software development management, and strategic IT consulting.
As a Co-founder of Adelvium, Matt is passionate about leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to empower businesses through innovation, security, and exceptional service.
